Whiteside County Clerk Dana Nelson stated on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, that her office had mailed Vote by Mail Ballot Applications to registered voters across the County. They were mailed Friday, July 31. By Tuesday, numerous postcards had been filled out and returned to her office.
“We are slammed” with requests for future mailed ballots, she stated. She noted other organizations have sent registered Whiteside County voters a Vote by Mail Ballot Application. Nelson prefers that residents return to her office the postcard from her office. It will have a barcode on it. Add your own postage stamp.
Ballots for the 59th quadrennial Presidential Election will be mailed after Monday, September 21, to those who file a Vote by Mail application. The election is Tuesday, November 3.
