The United Methodists also celebrated “Christmas in July” on Sunday, July 21.  Of course, July 21 would have to be one of the hottest days of 2019!  The congregation was festive in red and green.  Gifts for Morrison Friends Food Pantry were placed under a small tree.  Immediately following the 9:00 a.m. service, the Missions Committee served ice cream, brownies, cakes, and pies in Heritage Hall.

During the summer hours until Sunday, September 8, Morrison United Methodist Church is worshiping at one Sunday service at 9:00 a.m.  Special music for these summer Sundays is provided by a variety of vocalists and one clarinetist:  John Miller-bass, Pastor Noah-baritone, Connie Swanson-DeSpain-soprano, Pam Shank-tenor, and Reanna Panlilio-clarinetist.  The Chancel Choir will return on Sunday, September 8.

If you are looking for a church home, our doors, hearts, and minds are open.  We welcome you!
