Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, June 7, 2019.
Arrests: On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at approximately 11:47 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a motor vehicle crash (no injuries) in the 700 block of Glenwood Drive, Morrison, IL. During the investigation, Morrison Police determined that Angela J. Meier, age 39 of Morrison, was operating a vehicle and struck a parked vehicle on Glenwood Drive. Meier returned home leaving her vehicle at the crash scene. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Meier with Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Failure to Report Accident to Police Authority, and Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Meier was transported to the Whiteside County Jail for processing and was later released.
On Friday, June 14, 2019, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Tavian J. Eicher, age 20 of Davenport, IA, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Scott County, IA, charging Eicher with Sexual Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. No bond was available on the warrant, and Eicher was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. The Davenport Police Department assisted the Morrison Police Department with serving the warrant.
On Friday, June 14, 2019, at approximatley10:20 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Linda K. Warrner, age 57 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Ogle County, charging Warrner with Failure to Appear-Fraud/Domestic Battery. Warrner was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
