Andy Beranek Painting was honored with a second “Because Nice Matters” recognition, on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at the Morrison Chamber of Commerce office, 221 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL.  Chamber of Commerce Coordinator Meridith Layne presented a certificate and jar of candy.  This recognition follows a previous customer accolade from Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

The “Because Nice Matters 2019 Customer Service Award” stated, “Andy was nominated for not only doing a fabulous job of painting, but when he came back to finish up, he spent three hours completing another task [the customer] requested.  He did not charge [the owner].  This award is presented in celebration of his kindness.”

Beranek was born in Morrison.  He began painting as a high school Freshman, working for Steve Wilkens Painting and Refinishing.  He spent “five or six years in California;” painted for other contractors; worked on his own, to master the level of competency that customers admire.  In 2008, he began Andy Beranek Painting.

Congratulations to Beranek, Pruis, and Woods, not because nice is easy, but because nice matters!
