These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On 2/22/19 at 11:07 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Illinois Route 84 near Penrose Road, Fulton, IL, on a vehicle for no rear registration light.  Upon further investigation, the driver, Brain Bellville, age 35 of Clinton, IA, was cited for Civil Possession of Cannabis.  The passenger, Desiree I. C. Rush, age 27 of Clinton, IA, was cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol-Passenger.  Both Bellville and Rush were released with a Promise to Comply.  Fulton Police assisted on scene.

On 2-22-19 at 11:50 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies, Sterling/Rock Falls Fire, Sterling Police, and CGH EMS responded to a single-vehicle crash on Emerson Road near Mill Road, Sterling, IL.  The driver, Daniel Estrella, Junior, age 31 of Clinton, IA, was traveling westbound on Emerson Road, when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a guardrail, and then struck the bridge face.  Estrella was not injured in the crash, but he was arrested for DUI, processed at the Sterling Police Department, and released on bond.  Slim-n-Hank’s Towing also assisted on scene.

On 2-23-19 at 2:24 a.m., Deputies stopped a vehicle in Rock Falls, IL, for defective exhaust.  The passenger, Cynthia M. Cantu, age 27 of Rock Falls, was arrested on an outstanding Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear-Unlawful Possession of Cocaine.  She was processed at the Rock Falls Police Department and released on bond, pending a future court appearance.  Rock Falls Police assisted on scene.
