BlackhawkHillsRegionalCouncilBlackhawk Hills Regional Council’s Annual Meeting/Spring Summit will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held at Livengood’s Barn in Chadwick, IL.

The event will feature Aaron Kennedy, founder of the quick-casual restaurant brand Noodles and Company.

Kennedy, a native of Mount Carrol, IL, will speak on entrepreneurship.  The event is geared towards those with interests in community and economic development, including local leaders.

At the event, Blackhawk Hills will also present this year’s “I ♥ Northwest Illinois” and “Carson DeJarnatt Excellence in Community and Economic Development” awards.

The cost is $30 per person and includes dinner.

Blackhawk Hills Regional Council is northwest Illinois’ not-for-profit regional planning and economic development organization.  It serves Carroll, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, and Whiteside Counties.

The Council is overseen by an 18-member Board of Directors, consisting of three representatives from each of the six counties.
