Lillian Tincher, 98, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Resthave Home, Morrison.

Lillian was born June 19, 1919, in Wardville, OK, to Thomas G. and Ada (Featherston) Davis . She was educated in the Wardville Grade and High Schools.  She attended nursing school in Stillwater, OK.  Lillian married Fred A. Tincher on January 31, 1946, in Odessa, TX.  He died March 27, 2003.  Lillian was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the hospital and a nursing home in Vandalia, IL.  Most recently, she worked for the former Whiteside County Nursing Home.  Lillian was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrison and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Merton Chapter.  She enjoyed reading, golfing, and flower gardening.  Lillian also served as a “Pink Lady” volunteer at Morrison Community Hospital.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Ted) Nadolski of Rockford, IL; two grandchildren, Paul Nadolski and Lori (Dirk) Vanover; two great-grandchildren, Lorelei and Veronica Vanover; one sister, Beatrice Dotson of Augusta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Ilberry and Venus Harris.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.  There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Resthave Home Chapel, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, with Rev. Dr. Michael Selburg, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Morrison, officiating.

The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is assisting the family.

A memorial has been established to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
