Josie Frias led the Fillies offensive threat, as she got on base three times in the game. She scored two runs and had one RBI. She singled in the third inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Even though Bureau Valley’s Morgan Brown allowed six runs over seven innings she still recorded the victory. She struck out six and walked five.

The bottom of the first saw Bureau Valley take an early lead, 2-0. After the Fillies rallied to a 3-2 lead in the third, the Storm charged to a 6-3 advantage in the 4th inning.

After Morrison scored the tying run in the top of the 7th inning on an Allie Kuehl ground out, Bureau Valley ended it with a two-out walk-off single.
