Morrison Chamber of Commerce Board members visited Fitzgerald Pharmacy, 124 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, to deliver a Customer Service recognition. Chamber President Scott Stocker acknowledged Registered Pharmacist Dan Engelkens and Certified Tech Cheryl Hook as nominees for the “Because Nice Matters” award. Specifically, the Pharmacy staff “went above and beyond in their effort to meet a customer’s need.” They stayed open late to fill the prescription of an elderly person.
Engelkens has been a Fitzgerald Pharmacist five years; Hook has been a Certified Tech for ten years. Both are Morrison residents.
“She’s awesome!” stated a Pharmacy colleague. Hook replied, “I love working with the people; I really do.”
