Morrison, IL, Vacation Bible School was Monday, August 4, through Friday, August 8, 2025, at Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, Morrison, IL.

The kids embarked on an Alaskan adventure with Northern Lights glowing over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers.  As they trekked the tundra, they explored how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today.  Pointing them toward Jesus, True North showed them that Jesus is a faithful friend, we can always trust.  He is our True North.

Our mission project supported the Morrison Food Pantry.  Participants collected $800 to help purchase necessary items for families in need.

We had a competition between the grades, to build the tallest toilet paper and paper towel mountain in three minutes without it falling over.  Our Junior High class won the competition.  All the toilet paper and paper towels were then donated to the Food Pantry.

Games were not left out of the competition.  We set an obstacle course for the kids to run.  Winners got a chance to throw a softball to try to dunk a Pastor on Friday night.

Youths ages three-through-eighth-grade are invited to attend.  This was our biggest year for attendance in quite some time.  We had an average of 150 kids each night!  It was such a blessing to see so many kids eager to sing songs, play games, make crafts, and hear all about how Jesus is our True North.
