pband jellyLet’s Feed Our Children, a program of the United Way of Whiteside County, began its 18th year on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.  The free summer lunch program will run until Thursday, August 8.  All lunches are served on Tuesday and Thursday in Morrison, IL, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., at the Crave building, Market and Base Streets.

United Way of Whiteside County provides this free lunch program to anyone needing a lunch, including adults, with no questions asked.  Last year 500 volunteers served over 30,169 lunches across the County.

The Let’s Feed Our Children program began in 2001 and continues to be a well-run, well-supported program.  Donations of peanut butter and jelly or fold-over sandwich bags may be dropped off at your Morrison church or at Sauk Valley Foodbank,1801 Plant Road, Sterling, IL.

Financial donations may be sent to United Way of Whiteside County (earmarked “Let’s Feed Our Children”), P. O. Box 806, Sterling, IL.
