The Morrison American Legion is scheduling a public “Flag Retirement Ceremony” on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The 12:30 p.m. ceremony will take place on High Street, north of the Northside School.
Any flags due for retirement–not only The Flag of the United States of America–should be deposited in the Legion’s flag Drop Box, located at The American Legion, 306 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL.
(Due to foul weather, the ceremony will be postponed until the last Sunday in September 2026.)
